The TMMagCat team actively participated at the 58th Conference of the Serbian Chemical Society, which was held in Belgrade on June 9 and 10, 2022. Lectures were held at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU), and posters were held at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Chemistry. The conference is dedicated to the great jubilee – the 125th anniversary of the Serbian Chemical Society. At the meeting, we presented the project and our current research, but also heard fascinating lectures and saw interesting posters.
Our team participated with four poster presentations in two sections. In the inorganic chemistry section, posters were presented by Milica Savić (Synthesis and characterization of Fe(III) and Mn(II) complexes with condensation product of thiosemicarbazide and 2-acetylthiazole), Nevena Stevanović (Cu(II), Mn(II) and Zn(II) complexes of hydrazones with quaternary ammonium moiety: Synthesis, characterization and DFT calculation) и Božidar Čobeljić (Coordination preferences of NNO and NNS Schiff base ligands with Co(III) complexes), and in the theoretical chemistry section, the poster was presented by Filip Vlahović (Magnetic anisotropy in pentagonal bipyramidal complexes of first-row transition metal ions). These conference contributions, as well as the posters themselves, have been placed in the TMMagCat’s repository collection.
