From August 25th to 29th, 2024, the TMMagCat team participated in the 17th European Biological Inorganic Chemistry Conference (EuroBIC-17), held at the University of Münster, Germany. As one of the most renowned international gatherings in the field, this conference offered a valuable platform for presenting ongoing research and exchanging ideas with leading experts in bioinorganic chemistry.

Our team was represented by Miloš Milčić and Božidar Čobeljić, who showcased two poster presentations highlighting the biological activity and molecular docking studies of Zn(II) hydrazone complexes.

The first poster, presented by Miloš Milčić, was titled “Antifungal activity and molecular docking study of Zn(II) hydrazone complexes” and was co-authored by Irena Novaković, Karla Milčić, Milica Savić, Matija Zlatar, and Maja Gruden. You can view the abstract and poster in the TMMagCat repository collection.

The second poster, presented by Božidar Čobeljić, was titled “Evaluation of the biological activity of Zn(II) hydrazone complexes” and co-authored by Milica Savić, Nevena Stevanović, Matija Zlatar, and Maja Gruden. You can view the abstract and poster in the TMMagCat repository collection.

These contributions offered insights into the biological relevance and mechanistic behavior of Zn(II) hydrazone complexes, reflecting TMMagCat’s broader mission to combine molecular design with catalytic and biomedical applications.

Participation in EuroBIC-17 provided visibility to our research and reinforced the collaborative spirit that defines the project.
