On February 19, 2024, Prof. Wesley R. Browne from the University of Groningen visited our team to discuss ongoing and future collaborations in the field of transition-metal catalysis. We discussed the successful short-term research stay of Milica Savić in Prof. Browne’s group (January 20 – February 3, 2024), where she engaged in Raman spectroscopy and catalytic characterization of transition-metal complexes.

Further discussions focused on expanding joint research efforts in Mn(II)-based catalysis, particularly in the context of alkene epoxidation and mechanistic studies using Raman spectroscopy. The visit reaffirmed the strong scientific ties between our teams.

We look forward to deepening this partnership and continuing to exchange expertise.
